Pragmatic professional with continuous improvement focus!

As Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible to propose and implement improvement projects that will meet company set objectives for production line efficiencies at Inalfa Roof Systems assembly plant in Venray.

You will work inside a Customer focussed cross functional team, as the representative of the Manufacturing Engineering department. You will report to and be given guidance from Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

As a Manufacturing engineer your main tasks and responsibilities are:

·         Create proposals in close co-operation with Customer focused cross functional team that will lead to improvements in manufacturing efficiency e.g. increase FTT rate / lower BOL / improve capability etc;

·         Implement short term and long term manufacturing and process improvement projects, in co-operation with Inalfa colleagues and supplier partners;

·         Propose DFA / DFM solutions to drive quality improvements and cost reductions;

·         Troubleshoot and fix assembly line -stop-events related to area of expertise;

·         In co-operation with Advanced Process team ensure successful validation and launch of new assembly process lines;

·         Proactively communicate expertise / lessons learnt knowledge across all relevant departments..

 What do we expect from you?

You have a finished degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Automation on a BsC or MSC level. Experience in Automotive (OEM or 1st tier) Assembly Operations or other related Assembly industries is preferred but not always necessary. As a professional you have a service/customer oriented approach with good analytical skills. In your work you focus on results and you are able to manage your planning and set priorities. As the automotive industry is focused on Quality you are as well. Therefore you bring good problem solving skills with a pragmatic and pro-active approach. It is important to have good communication skills in English and/or the Dutch language.
